The Mask Mandate and Property Rights

The Fulshear Police did a good job explaining how the end of the mask mandate does not change the property rights of businesses.

As the mask mandate comes to an end on Wednesday (March 10, 2021) per Governor Abbott, this is a friendly reminder that private businesses enjoy property rights and may require you to wear a mask.

Just as they require you to wear shoes and a shirt, they may also require you to wear a mask.

Please respect their property rights. If you decline to wear a mask and are asked to leave and refuse, you may be committing the offense of criminal trespass.
