Joshua Michael Hahn Arrested for Manslaughter

As reported by the Waller County Sheriff’s Office, Joshua Michael Hahn was arrested and charged with manslaughter as a result of a shooting that occurred Sunday evening on Bowler Road.

Many of us have known the victim in this case, Douglas Smith, since he was a baby. This shooting was totally unnecessary and criminal. Our prayers are with his family both by blood and in the fire department. We will assist the family with getting any crime victim compensation benefits they can, but that is a slow process. JOSHUA MICHAEL HAHN was arrested and charged with MANSLAUGHTER as a result of a shooting that occurred Sunday evening on Bowler Road. The shooting resulted in the death of one individual and injury to another. The investigation is on-going pending possible additional charges. He remains in the Waller County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
