CASE UPDATE* —Joshua Hahn, previously indicted for manslaughter changes plea to “guilty” from “not guilty”. Expected to be sentenced in July of 2023.

Last week a Waller County grand jury returned an indictment for Manslaughter (2nd degree felony with potential punishment range of 2-20 years in prison) against Joshua Hahn in conjunction with the May 2021 shooting of Douglas Smith. The investigation was conducted by the Waller County Sheriff’s Office.
