D.A.’s Office Adds Environmental Prosecutor

The D.A.’s office is proud to announce the employment of Mr. Steven Dunbar as our newest Assistant District Attorney. Steven joins us following 27 years of service to the citizens of Houston ending his career with the Houston Fire Department as a District Fire Chief. Steven will be primarily focused on civil and environmental violations that occur within the county such as septic, floodplain and subdivision violations. You may see him out in the community with county inspectors observing violations. It is never our intention to be heavy handed, but it is also important that we all do our parts to keep our county, and especially our water supplies clean. Make sure your new construction projects are always permitted properly and your septic/water systems are in good working order.
