Brice Blankenship Convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child
On December 6, 2021 32 year old Brice Blankenship was sentenced to 40 years in prison for a 2015 Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child that occurred in Waller County, Texas. At the time, the child was under the age of 6.
Late afternoon, on Friday December the 3rd, after a five day trial, a Waller County jury in the 506th Judicial District Court found Blankenship guilty of the crime which carried a minimum of 25 years in prison as potential punishment. The Waller County District Attorney’s Office was represented by Melissa Hudspeth and Mia Magness.
Unfortunately this is just one of many such cases that are pending in Waller County. A “thank you” to the jury that showed up and set aside their personal needs during this time and focused on this important case.
Sentencing was carried out by Albert M. McCaig, Jr., specially assigned judge.
