Bradford Conviction

Tamara Zientek Bradford, age 40 of Hempstead was convicted this morning of the felony offense of Debit Card Abuse. After a two day trial, a Waller County District Court jury handed down the verdict in the 506th Judicial District Court, Judge Gary Chaney presiding. Bradford faces up to two years in prison and will be sentenced later this winter. The District Attorney’s Office was represented by Bennett Dodson and Sean Whittmore. Fraudulent uses of credit/debit cards cause billions of dollars in damages each year, not to mention the headache the victims undergo trying to get their finances back in order. The case was investigated by officers West and Martin of the Hempstead Police Department.
